Peninsula Arts: Welcome

Peninsula Arts is the cultural umbrella organisation for the University of Plymouth providing a diverse programme of exhibitions, music, talks and events.

Roland Levinsky Building

The Roland Levinsky Building is dedicated to the memory of the late Vice Chancellor, Professor Roland Levinsky, whose vision it was to locate the Faculty of Arts at the pivotal
interface between the university and the city, providing a new iconic gateway to the developing campus.

The striking £36 million building offers state-of-the-art facilities for students and staff, and provides access for the public to enjoy facilities such as the Southside Cafe, The Gallery
and Peninsula Arts events.  The building will also house the 'Formation Zone', a business incubation service for those wishing to start new, cultural or creative businesses.

The Roland Levinsky Building was part funded by grant assistance from the European Regional Development Agency Fund and the South West Regional Development Agency.
